I would like to express my gratitude to Mr. Omar Hern\u00e1ndez for allowing me to introduce the First International Academic Conference on the Sustainable Goals Why It Matters as part of the Decade of Action.\u00a0 The conference is being organized in collaboration with UNAI and the UN Department of Global Communications and will take place on October 5-7, 2022 in Orem, Utah, USA. The Conference Executive Board has recommended your valuable collaboration as a focal point and centers of expertise related to the SDG you present. As we will be addressing the 17 SDGs during the event, we are requesting your support in reviewing and selecting the conference papers and presentations related to the SDG you represent.\u00a0 We also encourage you to promote this event as papers will be published as part of the conference proceedings.
