Segue convite da Utah Valley University enviado pela United Nations Academic Impact (em inglês):

Dear UNAI SDG Hub representative,

I would like to express my gratitude to Mr. Omar Hernández for allowing me to introduce the First International Academic Conference on the Sustainable Goals Why It Matters as part of the Decade of Action.  The conference is being organized in collaboration with UNAI and the UN Department of Global Communications and will take place on October 5-7, 2022 in Orem, Utah, USA. Currently the Call for Papers is open until 1 November 2021.  The conference website is:  www.uvu.edu/global/wim22 and feel free to review the Concept Note here: https://www.uvu.edu/global/wim22/concept.html

We would like to take this opportunity to extend an invitation to all UNAI SDG Hubs to join the Scientific Committee of the Conference. The Conference Executive Board has recommended your valuable collaboration as a focal point and centers of expertise related to the SDG you present. As we will be addressing the 17 SDGs during the event, we are requesting your support in reviewing and selecting the conference papers and presentations related to the SDG you represent.  We also encourage you to promote this event as papers will be published as part of the conference proceedings. See the Conference Trello Page for your information:  https://trello.com/b/Y2bzs12y/promotional-content

As we are constituting the scientific committee review board, we would like to receive your acceptance by including a contact individual who will represent your institution during this process. If you could reach out to me by mid-July, we would kindly appreciate it. If you have any additional questions, do not hesitate to contact me.

We look forward to having you join and support this historic event as the first academic conference on the SDG´s in partnership with the UNAI and the UN Department of Global Communication.

Kindest regards,

Baldomero Lago
