Today young hearts around the world are filled with excitement. After a year that felt like ages, finally teenagers will get to see the sequel of the Twilight Saga: New Moon.

For those who still have not heard about this meteoric phenomenon, the story weaves around the teenage lovers Edward and Bella: he is a vampire, doomed to (or blessed with) enternity; she is a pretty girl who sees her life taken up by the supernatural. After all, vampires used to exist only in scary Halloween tales.

CELEBRATING HALLOWEEN …WE HAD A GREAT TIME!!!!

On the last lesson on October 28,  teacher Ivete gave us a lesson about Halloween. Halloween is celebrated on Octber 31st.  This date is too commemorated in United States and Canada.

The classroom was decorated with symbols of Halloween.

To begin the lesson teacher asked us this question: “Trick or Treat?”

I chose “Treat” , than she gave me many candies.

Afterwards the teacher gave a new experience for us, she called  her Canadian sister. Her name is Bonita, or only Bonnie. Each student made a question to Bonnie. This was a very interesting experience for me and for all the classmates my dear witch teacher Ivete !

In our last  class , on wednesday, on 28 of October, our teacher Ivete dressed up like a witch.

She decorated the classrom with traditional Halloween colours, with ghosts, witches,bats and a black cat  She gave us candies and a lesson about the origen of Halloween party.

She called her friend Bonnie in Canadá. We asked her some things about Halloween and she answered. It was great !

We were more afraid to talk on the phone than the witches…but it was was very good.

Well, last wednesday we had a  special Halloween English class.

We learned a little about Halloween meanings, origins and the famous

“treat or trick” expression.

Also we spoke with Bonnie, a teacher’s canadian friend, using the

teacher’s laptop. It was funny!

This was a very good lesson!!!

On our last lesson our class was decorated with black cats, pumpkins, witches and ghosts and our teacher dressed up a ” witch hat” and said: ‘ Trick or Treat”.

We had fun on our Halloween`s Night”.

In the next moment, we spoke with Bonnie on the internet, on Skype. She´s from Canada and she´s teacher Ivete friend. I was very nervous, but it was very good.

The lesson was very interesting and funny. I was very happy and learnt new things.
